Okay, so this might be really cliche but I'm officially closing down the old xanga.

it had a good run, and i talked to some cool people, aka liz...lol

i basically have a year of my life recorded in this xanga. 2005 will go down as the year of the xanga.

so for all you that i share regular witty comments with, i'll probably still come back sometimes and read your xanga, just to see what's going on...those of you who know who you are, feel free to im me sometime at xxkellyc22xx

p.s. liz, i took the liberty of adding your im to my buddy list, we def. have to keep in touch in some way, you're the only one i know who knows how important the Golden Globes are, how much Tina Fey is one of he coolest people alive, or how hot George the pharmacist is...lol

I have my detention after school tomorrow. Yeah I’m a badass. Gotta love a school that gives you detention for being late 4 times. Siobhan suggested I “fock the system” and don’t go, then get an out of school suspension and come to school. Then as I get dragged off school property just scream, “I want to learn and further my education!”

hard to believe '05 is quickly coming to a close. it was a good year. i'll miss it a little.

Christmas break has officially begun!!! Woot.Sweet Life.

Oh have i've been neglecting the ol' xanga. i think the novelty is wearing off, that combined with the holiday season and you get minimal update-age.

ha holiday. one of the best Update jokes last night :

Anyhoosale, um my free time outiside of school and winter concerts has pretty much been taken over by shopping. speaking of concerts, WWJ '05 rocked. everyone was great our seats were awsome and oh yeah, i met natasha bedingfield!!!!! it was so awsome and she was so nice. i was like the only one that brought something of my own for her to sign. She was so cute cause i brought my little album cover thing and i was like would you mind signing this instead, and she looked at it for a second and she was like "you bought my album!" ...lol very sweet

DMB concert was also pretty sweet. closed with Rapunzel, played Grey Street and Minarets...good times.

um....so that's about all, x-mas party tomorrow night, 4 day school week then x-mas and x-mas break. i'm going to NYC the day after to see all the pretty decorations and whatnot, also there's a really cool exhibit at the MoMa i really wanna see.

hope i remember to update again before new year's....lol

Last week went by pretty fast. too fast for me to even update about anything. I've been really busy with my article for journalism (it's about pharmacists refusing to sell birth control, and i was really proud of my headline "Could Your Pharmacist Get You Pregnant?" ...lol) and we had 2 orch. winds concerts this week. Me and siobhan spent a lot of time at the diner and then friday i went x-mas shopping and saturday we went swing dancing and then to (where else?) the diner. good times...

in other news:

I won backstage passes to meet Natasha Bedingfield!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So first of all,

SNOW. sweet life. first snow of the season today. f.y.i. i live for the winter weather.

anyhoosale, let's see...what went down this weekend...? ah yes.

Band Rec. night was interesting, sans siobhan, cap'n, tab, and i basically hovered around in a group. i also talked to iris, and me and jim swing danced. fun. cap'n gave me one of her senior pictures and i told her to write something insightful on the back. here's what she wrote: "Cause I'm young and i'm black, and my hat's real low." ...lol apparently her idea of insightful is Jay-Z lyrics...lol gotta love it.

umm....rest of the weekend was cool. went out with jim, went to the diner with siobhan, iris and sean. we were talking about how me and siobhan should try to see if we could actually stay at ther diner for 24 hours. (since it's open 24 hours) we were tossing around the idea of doing it during x-mas break since we wouldn't have to go to school... lol how hilarious would that be if we actually did it?

siobhan and i are going "holiday" shopping tonight. should be fun. she's just like tell me what you want and i'm like, that'll ruin the suprise. she doesn't have to get me anything anyway and if she does it's the thought that counts. is that just really cheesy or am i right here? i mean, i have a list, i pretty much know what i'm getting anyway, so there's already less of a suprise, why narrow it down even more? i like when people get me random stuff that i don't ask for, to me it shows that they actually pay attention and put some thought into it....idunno it's just one of those weird things i guess. what ev.

So,

T.giving break is underway. Half day yesterday cause of grad. proj. meeting. Mine's gonna be awsome if i can pull it off. i should start working on the actual "project" part of it soon. i have like 3 months. for those of you less informed I'm making my prom dress for my project. It's gonna be cool.

Last night went to the movies with Siobhan. Saw "Pride & Prejudice" with Keira Knightley. We felt like obligated to see it so we could compare, and I dare say, this version, even though it was only 2 hours, was very good. It was actually a lot better then I thought it was going to be. Keira was good, the new Darcy was good (even though no one can compete with Colin's gazing) and the settings were really pretty. They didn't really "cut" anything per say, they just kind of condensed it a lot. As siobhan said, they "dulled the edges" Overall I'd give it a 3 3/4 out of 4 stars. I don't give it 4 b/c I'd be curious to know what ppl who just saw this one thought of it. Like, I feel like i enjoyed it more b/c i already knew the story, so the stuff that they cut down, i already had the extended information.

so T.giving this week, going to my dad's and then me & my mom are going to the movies, we do it every year, it's kind of become a tradition. we're thinking about seeing "Rent" cause that song in the trailer is so damn catchy! ...lol
